The brief, to provide masterplanning for a new build, low energy, single family dwelling within a suburban setting whilst retaining the existing bungalow as temporary accommodation during the construction.

The building orientation follows the principles of Passivhaus to benefit from solar gain. A number of Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) trees on site provided the contextual setting for this design.
