Planning approved for contemporary extension, Haslemere, Surrey
Waverley Borough Council has granted planning permission to extend a detached 1960s family home in central Haslemere, Surrey.
Waverley Borough Council has granted planning permission for our latest design to extend a 1960s detached, 4 bedroom family home in central Haslemere.
The existing property sits on a generous hillside plot near the town centre with far-reaching views towards Hindhead Common. Nevertheless the existing building approach and orientation are generic and do not address the building context.
Our contemporary design re-orientates the building approach with a new, partially double height entrance hall and living room and master-suite wing. The new, stepped volume takes maximum advantage of the orientation and views with a roof terrace. The remaining existing accommodation has also been reorientated in line with the new contextual design and upgraded into a modern 5 bedroom family home.
