We are delighted that our project is featured in this month’s issue of Selfbuild & Design.

Sixties revival is an in depth case study of our 1960s House Remodelling & Extension in Lodsworth in the SDNP. It show-cases the individuality of our clients that inspired this revival of a former derelict building structure and transformed it into such a wonderful project and nourishing family home.

And we remember the first winter after completion, when the South of England had been plunged into an extended power-cut over Christmas. At that point our clients reported back how very special their celebrations with family and friends had been. The double aspect fire place and large thermal mass of the polished concrete floor, surrounded by the newly renovated high performance building envelope, had already stood up to the test.

Often, it is not necessarily the context we have planned for that becomes the main attraction but the flexibility of good design, that caters for such aspects of life in an organic way.
